Under the authority of the Regional Representative and Director of the UNESCO Regional Office for Southern Africa and the direct supervision of the Regional Advisor – Education for Health and Wellbeing for Eastern & Southern Africa, the incumbent is responsible for overseeing and ensuring quality design, implementation, monitoring and reporting of programs/projects/activities related to UNESCO’s expanded work on Education for Health and Wellbeing in Malawi.

The Project Officer will represent the Regional Director and representative on the UNCT and other appropriate coordination forums in Malawi. The incumbent serves as UNESCO’s point of contact for various high-level internal and external audiences including government, cooperating partners and other international actors on Education for Health and Wellbeing in Malawi.
